Our School Christmas events

Christmas at Our School

Goodwill and festive cheer brightened the last weeks of term at Our School. As ‘Jingle Bells’ rang out on Wednesday afternoons, the walls of the Maternelle classrooms filled with colourful artwork. Our families generously donated over 70 shoeboxes packed with toys, winter clothing and colourings to the ‘Love in a Box’ association for children who might otherwise go without.

The Maternelle children performed a wonderful Christmas show in early December. Transformed into animals from the ‘Brown Bear’ story, they sang, read aloud and acted beautifully. A surprise awaited them before the holidays when Father Christmas knocked at their classroom door…

Our primary pupils enjoyed a festive celebration in the playground during their last hour of class of 2021. Wearing antlers, Santa hats and masks, the children sang seasonal songs by class, then wished one another a very merry Christmas. As darkness fell, excitement about the tombola grew. Names were drawn and prizes claimed before each child received a special gift.

We thank all of our families and the collège for their support throughout the year and send warm wishes for 2022.
