Happy New Year 2012
We would like to wish all our families, teachers and especially the children attending Our School a very Happy New 2012. We are sure the kids had a great time over the festive period. Carry on the hard work throughout the 2nd and 3rd terms and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Christmas Party 2011 - Another great success
What better way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon in December than seeing your kids enjoying English with their OurSchool friends and sharing some Anglophone tradition with like-minded families?! (I know that one or two dads would rather have been watching the rugby but I'm sure that's the exception... J)
Record participation, great organization, super performances and plenty of Christmas spirit ensured that this was an afternoon for us all to remember. If you would like to reminisce a little with your kids, go to your family page and check out the fabulous photos Fanny took throughout the afternoon.
Thanks again for the photos Fanny, also to the parent reps for their superb (and pleasurable) organisation, to all the teachers for their ideas and enthusiasm, to Kevin and his sons for their musical and technical expertise which made all the difference, to all who baked or bought for the buffet and to you ALL for coming and making it such an enjoyable event!
Have a wonderful Christmas time and we look forward to rejoining you all for a rewarding 2012.

1st Our School Summer Camp - what a great success
This summer marked a milestone in the history of OurSchool:
On popular demand, the first ever OurSchool SummerCamp took place the first week of July 2011 at the Centre Ozanam in Versailles. The aim was for the kids to do normal, fun, kids things but in an English speaking environment so that they could acquire a different range of vocabulary that is linked with creative and team activities.
There was no formal teaching as such; Laura and Tanya organized a whole load of crafts, stories, songs, games etc. around the theme The Seaside, including a fabulous art project. They were joined each day by a couple of parent volunteers.
The Centre Ozanam is a spacious, relaxed place with a fantastic park which we made maximum use of. There was a courtyard with chairs and tables for the picnic lunch, two rooms for creative activities, undercover outdoor space should it rain AND good parking facilities for drop-off and pick-up. What more could you wish for!
